做台灣人
星期六那天, 我們回宜蘭, 車子開過雪山隧道, 好多朵漂亮的白雲飄在好藍的天上. 陽陽和媽咪沿路上一直說著ㄋㄚˋ裡有rabbit, dog, dragon, monster, car... 很漂亮的景色, 沒有污染的天空是這樣的美麗. 不禁得讚美上帝創造萬物的神奇! 很久沒看到這樣的藍天了. 對陽陽來說, 應該是他懂得表達以來第一次他看到如此漂亮的天空!
就在媽咪說完ㄋㄚˋ裡又有monster的時候, 陽陽說了一句 "No wonder you want to be Taiwan People, the sky is so beautiful!" 有點無厘頭, 漂亮的天空跟台灣人有甚麼關係? 原來陽陽以為我們以做台灣人為榮, 因為只有在台灣他可以看到這樣無瑕的天空.

麥當勞的魔力
Kids love Mcdonalds. Don't understand why. One time, John mentioned he wanted to eat Mcdonalds and we told him we ate Mcdonalds only if we do not have anything to eat.
Couple months ago, we went to bank to set up another investment accounts. When everything was done, it was around 1pm. Tim and I was discussing where to eat and we came to a conclusion of buying Mcdonalds. When John heard the WORD, you could see his face turn to smiling. But he suddenly remembered the phases of "eat Mcdonalds only if we do not have anything to eat" and he asked me, "Mom, I though we eat Mcdonalds only if we do not have anything to eat". I told him because it was 1pm and we were not home yet. We did not have anything to eat now so we could eat Mcdonalds. He was quite satistified with my answer because he could eat Mcdonalds for the first time after he was born.

兒童夏令營與自強活動
去年讓小朋友參加了當地的暑期才藝幼稚園, 今年讓他參加了英式的兒童夏令營. 總覺得太強調學習, 缺乏讓小朋友適應新環境的活動設計與協助.
回想自己大學時期帶領救國團的自強活動或基層文化服務隊的經驗, 不論內容或花費, 總覺得遠比當下的才藝班或兒童夏令營好.

Playing cards become one of John's favoriate games now. He like to play picking red points (撿紅點), big 2 (大老二), sorting from 7 (排七), "heart-attack" (心臟病), and 21 points (21 點) sometimes.
picking red points (撿紅點) and 21 points can help him practicing adding numbers.

laugh and angry
John know the age differences between he and mommy. He also like to wash hairs at the same day with Erica.
One day, we went to cut hairs and thus didn't need to wash hairs at home again.

紅包
This year, John started understanding "red envelop" was not just an envelop but can be used to pay for something he wanted. He counted how many he got and wanted to use it for some of good he wanted to buy. He does not have any idea about how much it is inside of the "red envelop". He just knows how many he has.
Because of this, we told him to make good use of his red envelop because he would not have received any red envelop until next new year. In the beginning, he did not know how to manage (because he thought "19" envelop was many and it would be take a long time to use it up) so he decided to use 7 of them when we were in Taipei. However, one day, he counted he had used 7 and there would be 12 left only...and he realized there was 12, no longer 19...

Ice Cream
Weather becomes hotter now. Ice Cream becomes a reward to John. After shower, John had few scoops of ice cream but he still felt not enough.
John: Mommy, I want more scoops.

John goes to MultiSport summer camp started from this Monday. However, Tim was a bit late to pick him up on his first day in MultiSport summer camp. John was upset so he told us he did not want to go to summer camp on Tuesday. In order to convince John, mommy told John...

Comfort kids or parents?
It is about summer vacation period. We arrange some summer camps for John. Most summer camps will continue for 1 week. John has more chance to face new environment and meet new friends.
John is easy to cry in the morning at first separation from me as he know he need to face new environment and new friends by himself from now onward.

Spelling a word
John recently keep asking us about how to spell letters of animals or his classmate name etc.
At the beginning, he liked to play with us by finding a corresponding words of animal or his friends name from A to Z.
